As you might know from my blog posts last spring, I spent significant time and power through the first half of 2017 working with different health care professionals and legislators across the state to make sure that the Certificate of Want (CON) program was not repealed here in Florida. Comedian Relief has teamed up with the Paul Hamlyn Foundation to ship the 2018 Tech for Good funding programme. The programme recognises the significance of digital technology and its potential to handle a few of our largest social challenges and the 2018 funding programme will aim to assist 12 not-for-profit organisations to develop their digital products or services. Successful organisations will obtain funding of £15,000 – £forty seven,000 for 9 months alongside entry to dedicated technical experience and an intensive support programme between July 2018 and March 2019. It will embrace a residential camp firstly to attach the funded projects with leading tech for good experts, and ongoing mentoring and report back days. A public ‘wrap-up’ event on the end of the funding will enable the initiatives to point out what they have created with the grant and help.
