To keep you active while you’re stuck at home, the company is giving you access to their Premium membership.
Gyms across the country have been forced to close their doors after Prime Minister Scott Morrison enforced further physical distancing restrictions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
But to help with everyone’s fitness woes, Fitbit has announced they’re offering a free 90-day trial of its Premium package to help you through this difficult time.
A post from the company’s CEO and co-founder James Park confirmed the decision.
“Given the current circumstances, we know how hard it is to focus on your health and wellness,” Park wrote. “But staying active, eating nutritious foods, sleeping well, and managing stress are critical to boosting your immunity and your mood.
In addition to the 90-day free trial, the company is also offering “40 new pieces of Premium content free in the Fitbit app.”

What is Fitbit Premium?
The package is (normally) a paid membership in the Fitbit app that uses your unique data to deliver personalised guidance and coaching.
Features exclusive to Fitbit Premium include personalised health insights, advanced sleep tools, customised programs, health guidance, hundreds of video and audio workouts, and more.
How to get access to Fitbit Premium
If you’d like to take advantage of the offer, you just need to launch the Fitbit app and sign-up with a valid payment method.
If you choose to cancel your Fitbit Premium subscription before the 90-day trial period ends, you won’t be charged. But if you do decide to keep using it, subscription is $15.49 per month.
